Good news for fans of the the Toe Nibbler. Recent rains have helped to increase lake levels and have restored some of the much needed Nibbler habitat. Although drought conditions are still wide spread, there is some hope that the lake will return to normal levels before the Toe Nibblers are driven from the area.
Since so little is known about these creatures, many enthusiasts have taken the opportunity, with historic low water levels, to look for evidence of Nibbler activity. Thus far, no one has reported in with any new photographic evidence.
